MUGWORT  Artemisia vulgaris

With properties similar to Wormwood, Mugwort is also a bitter tonic that is used for intestinal parasites, as a digestive aid and to effectively stimulate & normalize the menstrual flow.
Common use: Expels worms and other intestinal parasites (worming medicine for both humans & animals); helps regulate menstrual flow; bitter tonic for improved digestion and liver function. Natural insect repellent for moth & fleas.

As a bitter tonic, Mugwort improves liver function and has a beneficial effect on bile production thus promoting the appetite and proper digestion. For external use, try applying Mugwort as a poultice for boils & abscesses, as a wash to relieve skin itching, or as a bath additive for gout, rheumatism and tired legs.
