I don't think there's anything unique about human intelligence. All the nuerons in the brain that make perceptions and emotions operate in a binary fashion.
Just in terms of allocation of time resources, religion is not very efficient. There's a lot more I could be doing on a Sunday morning.

Here's a couple interesting Gates pictures...
Gates was arrested in 1975 twice and once in 1977, when this photo was taken.  All three times, charges were reckless driving or driving without a liscence.
When Gates went to Belgium in 1998, he was hit in the face with a pie. In this picture, you can see the man who did it, in the top-right corner.
