Definitely one of the most helpful projects I completed all year, the business cards (which were made in MS publisher) taught me a great deal. Besides learning the basics of how to set up a business card (measurements, format), I also learned how to insert files and pictures from Adobe into Publisher when doing this project. Also, I was introduced to different border and background options. I also used the Lasso tool in Adobe Photoshop for the first time when making these business cards. I also used the design principles in creating all these cards, and it helped in making the cards more appealing, flashy, and keeping the intended demographic in mind. Finally, one other important tip I picked up when making cards, how to set up the Avery printing format for business cards, which I'm sure will help and will come into play again down the road. |
