Anyway, from the world of Kathy...Less than a week till school starts. I'll be a SENIOR at Texas Tech University, the best college anywhere. I'm kind of excited about starting back & seeing all my friends again (I'm a double major in English & Communications - both the departments are pretty small, and when you've been going here as long as I have, you know a lot of people.) Among the highlights of my semester will be taking classes with Ric Shafer (the forensics coach at TTU) and Prof. Julianne Scholl - she's very cool & very smart. Oh yeah, and then there's football season. I love football. I can't wait for it it start. I've already taken the day off for the TTU vs. UT game in October. (Sorry UT fans, but we're going to "kick you in the crack of your ass!") It'll be fun...I have the day off today, but I still had to go up to work for a meeting. That kind of sucks, but at least it's overtime. We are planning a new project for the fall, and everyone has such different ideas, so hashing them out was not easy. But we talked and talked and talked and finally came up with a solution that, I think, fits everyone. But I guess we'll see...Got an email from my friend Shannon today. It's been ages since I talked to her...Spent a long time yesterday on the aforementioned Stacy's website. I just love Stacy. She's so conservative, and I'm so liberal, but we tend to see eye-to-eye on a lot of things. Stacy's very smart, very political, and very funny, so I highly suggest you check out her site.
Well, perhaps I'll write more later. I'm going to try and fix a few more pages, then cook some dinner.
