Merry meet and welcome to my site "little Purple Witch" Let me introduce myself, my name is Tracy and I have recently started on the path of Witch. I will tell you a little about myself and how I came to change my life path... slightly. I was born in the East End of London in the sixties and at the age of six had my first psychic experience when my maternal Grandfather passed over. As I grew older I began to pick up more on a psychic level but it was random and I had no control. In my twenties I finally discovered a Development Circle. I sat Circle for seven years and learned I was Clairaudient (could hear) and Clairvoyent (could see) and developed in Tarot reading, Mediumship, all different forms of scrying, psychometry and Trance work, sometimes known as Channelling. I also got into Aromatherapy and Crystals whilst here too. I also met my Husband there and from the circle we went on to do some platform work ( demonstrate our Mediumship) for a local Spiritualist Church. At this point in my life I classed myself as a Spiritualist. My Husband has always been interested in Nature and venerating the Earth but un beknown to me had also been in a Coven and was really a Pagan and due to my misconception of the craft had kept a low profile in this aspect of his life. Upon finally purchasing a Computer and going on line, my Husband got himself on a few E-mail lists regarding the broad spectrum of Paganism and convinced me to join them too. Where began my introduction into Paganism. I learned that a lot of what I believed in was Paganistic and also I had been doing rituals of sorts for some time. This then prompted me to look into the "Craft" in a lot more detail. My Husband gave me books to read and I devoured them. As I read through all I could get my hands on, it all began to make more and more sense to me and I could not shake the feeling that I had finally found what I had been searching for, for so long. In June (2001) I finally made the decision to accept my true path as a Witch and have not looked back since. My life has only changed slightly, well enhanced would be a better word, and every day I am learning more. I decided to build this site to put back something and hopefully help others who are looking into this path. I am still learning and as I grow I hope this sight will too. I am now looking at Herbs and Candle Magick at the moment and when I have enough information will be adding it to the BoS section of the site. The latest news is that on August 11th 2002 Hubby and I renewed our wedding vows for out tenth wedding anniversay by having a Handfasting. It was a lovely day and the ceremony it self was out of this world. We had about 50 guests, of which half were non pagan. The ones who were pagan came dressed for the occasion and the muggles (sorry non pagans) came in smart/casual attire. Have to say I was a bit concerned how the non pagans would take it, but I was bowled over by their response. They went around asking questions and talking to all the other pagans there, so hopefully it assisted in dispelling some of the myths which still abound about Witches.
