He helps everyone that he can with their lines. Might send him an email and see what he knows. I'm stuck with my ggg gf: John Wesley LITTLETON b 25 May 1806 Loudoun Co, VA married Elizabeth Ann TAVENNER b 30 Oct 1810 Loudoun Co, VA on 21 Mar 1829 in Loudoun Co, VA They moved to Clark Co, OH in mid 1830 and John died there in 1838. I have NOT been able to find his parents, any siblings or mention of his birth. It appears that he must have had a very close relationship with a Charlotte LITTLETON who married Bernard WATKINS and a Lorenzo LITTLETON. Lorenzo and Charlotte and 2 of John's sons went west together. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ LYTTLETON, Diane Lyttleton@ozemail.com.au My LITTLETONS/LYTTLETONS (they used both spellings) came to Australia from Cork, Ireland, in the 19th century. LITTLETON and Amanda DOWNING LITTLETON Married to William Wesley MATHENY Siblings: Nancy LITTLETON BIRCH William PIERCE LITTLETON Holmes LITTLETON Oliver LITTLETON Pricina"Annie" LITTLETON HELMS Louisa LITTLETON Eva LITTLETON SORRELL Lena LITTLETON SAMUELS I know what happened to most of her siblings except for Holmes. I recently found out that he joined the cavalry but I don't know if he married and had children. I suspect he may have had a middle name that he used and that may be why I'm having a difficult time finding him. I also am not sure what happened to Louisa (her name could have been Laura,it was difficult to read). There is some speculation that she may have had some mental health problems. Her twin sister is Annie. I can find her in the 1880 census but can not find Louisa. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MICK, Tom tmick@kc.rr.com You can add me to the list of Littleton family researchers my lineage is: John LITTLETON m. I am doing this to help Littleton researchers find others that could possibly be working on the same lines. Hope everyone finds someone that they can help. Or, maybe even find someone who might have the key to their brick-wall. I want to thank everyone who participates. Good luck with your research.... Wanda |
