The Wilson Inlet is the second largest Inlet in Western Australia and known as "The Jewel of the South Coast". It stretches for 45 sqkm, starting just 400 metres from The Little Wren B & B. It attracts abundant bird life and is a bird lovers' paradise.
The Inlet flows into the Southern Ocean at Ocean Beach, being an ideal location for surfing, swimming and fishing.
The nearby William Bay National Park features the protected Greens Pool and the unusually shaped Elephant Rocks. This is the safest swimming spot for young and old alike.
The Valley of the Giants features the world famous Tree Top Walk and the Ancient Empire boardwalk, only 45 km from The Little Wren B & B.
Be amazed by the size of our giant Tingle trees. In the past you where even allowed to park your car inside these trees.
The longest trail in Western Australia stretches from Perth in the North to Albany on the South Coast.
The most spectacular sections of this world famous track are in the Denmark District, right atop our coastal cliffs and mountain ridges.
The Little Wren B & B is only a minute from it. Enjoy a morning walk to the top of Mt.Hallowell or Monkey Rock and take in the stunning views.
In the Denmark District you find over 50 wineries, many with a Restaurant or Cafe on site.
Just to name a few, I recently visited Matilda's Meadow, Jindi Creek and Karriview Wines. I enjoyed them all. The Little Wren B & B will provide you with a complimantary "Wine Lovers' Guide to Denmark".
