Hello! I am Baby Zapp. You know, I always wanted to be a ballerina ever since I was a teeny tiny girl. Mama finally did say we could go to a class and see how we liked it.
Squirt came with me and she wore a rainbow colored tu tu she found at the Goodwill. When she jumped it shook and it gave me the giggles. It made a rustiling sound and looked like jello.
None of the other kids were laughing which made me want to laugh all the more. The other kids and mothers were serious and stuff but Mom smiled real big at us.
We had the goofiest shoes you ever saw. They were pink like skin color and they had really long toes and it looked like some person stuck a big fat wad of Kleenex in the toe part. Then we were supposed to stand on our toes. We kept losing our balance and my sister and me bumped heads.
Then we started laughing some more and by now I was nearly crying that I was laughing so hard. My sister Squirt and me must have looked like two colliding planets!!
Then we got to my favoorite part. We were supposed to pretend that we were little pixies in the woods.
The teacher put on this really nice twirling kind of music and I started to feel like a little pixie with wings and I felt like I could fly.
The music must have really done something to me because I forgot about everything--those big toed shoes and my sisters rustling costume--everything except the music and I began to jump on my toes like we were supposed to only I didn't really even think of it--it just happened.
I was just a pixie in the woods! Well soon enough the music stopped and we took off our shoes and my sister wore her costume home and even ate dinner in it. We call her the sugar plum fairy now.
