Even though it wasn't Halloween the zappers wanted to visit the haunted house
They had heard from other chldren that there were ghosts and that some things in the house moved all by themselves.
Even though the Zappers felt a little frightened they decided they wanted to go in anyway.
Baby Zapp decided to bring her little sister to the haunted house although she thought that she may be too scared too protect her baby sister, Squirt Zapp if things got really strange in the haunted house!
But they knew Mama would be there and Mama has done that ghost busting thing before.
Baby ZApp went in first and nearly fainted when she saw a candlestick lift right off the table and follow them.
Squirt Zapp screamed and said, "AAAAAAAAAH! I saw a ghost over there," and pointed off ahead of her.
But no one else saw it.
Baby Zapp wished her friends could see her now. She felt very brave walking through the haunted house.
All of a sudden a bookcase moved all on its own and it lead a passage way into a completely different room.
Mama said, "Let's go and see what is in there."
The Zappers were very scared but they went anyway.
Suddenly a bat flew very close to the Zappers face and they let out a shreik!
Mama just laughed and said, 'LOOK ' The Zappers gasped!
It looked like the three of them-- only they looked like GHOSTS THEMSELVES!!!!
"Someone is playing a trick on us", said Mama.
The Zappers breathed a sigh of relief.
They had reached a point to where they did not know WHAT was going on.
It was now time to go home.
As the Zappers left the Haunted House they felt some cobwebs brush against their faces and then felt a slight chill.
They went outside and laughed and laughed.
They now felt safe and not afraid anymore.
It had truly been a fun day for the Zappers.
