TRANSLOADING FOR BLONDES

Hello and welcome to Transloading for Blondes.

I am going to make this easy as i can even though I still do not know everything yet.

This is the page we will be transloading from:

It is my friend Cyberjunkie's.

We will be using Transloader.com which is on this tool page above.
It is on the left about half way down...

The best thing of all is to put this on an "F" Key.

How to Assign an "F" Key

Now that you have the toolpage on your "F" key we are going to have fun

START!

(1) Get on the page that has the gif you want to transload.

(2) Now hit the "F" Key that the Toolpage is on.

(3) Scroll on down to the Tansloader.com..about halfway down on the left.

(4) Click on Transloader.com and you will see magic!!

(5) Do you see a picture of your gif? That is great...you are doing really good!!!!

(Note: If you do not see your picture here..you may have the Javascript "bug" Hit the CMD with your left hand and while your left hand is still there...hit the letter "R" 5 times with your right hand. Now do you see the picture??

(6) Now it will ask you about FTP.. Since I am blonde I do not know what that means..but I do know what to do..

This is where you put

ftp.oocities.com, or

ftp.tripod.com, or

ftp.angelfire.com..

or wherever the gif is going to be stored

At this place you must put the letters ftp. in front of Tripod (Angelfire or whatever)

I dont know why. Just remember ftp and then a dot and then tripod (or angelfire or whatever) and then dot com. (blondes use the "dot"... don't spell it)

So it always looks like one of these

ftp.tripod.com

ftp.oocities.com

ftp.angelfire.com

(7) Next it says "directories". You can ignore that for now..

(8) The next is rename..you can ignore this right now to keep it easy

(9) Holy cow we are really getting somewhere now! Now all we have to do is enter our username and our password...

I hope that you remember your "username" and the "password" you chose when you signed up with Tripod, Or Angelfire, Or Geocities, This is what you put in where it says "username" and "Password"

(10) Now that it is filled out hit "submit" and cross your fingers...hope...hope...hope!!!

(11) It will take you to another page

I have learned to look for two key word phrases

You want it to say

PORT COMMAND SUCCESSFUL

AND

TRANSFER COMPLETE!

(12) NOW YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO REJOICE ABOUT.

You may have noticed some numbers on the left hand of the page.The low numbers seem to be good
If you see a 500 number there may be a problem

Sometimes there will be something stupid like "Tripod.com does not exist"... I hit the "back" button and erase the "ftp.tripod.com" and retype the whole thing and usually this works.

(13) Now it is time to sign in to your account and see if your gif is there!!! It may take a bit. You can hit "reload" and view it
