Grateful is My Heart Grateful for the thoughts you have shared Though tears in my eyes Many times I did wear. I don't know how you have reached me this way Only love remains in this heart and would stay. When your sorrow speaks out it touches my soul To love you this way Was never my goal. To hear your voice as it speaks soft and low How I feel, I wonder if you really know. To hear your laughter makes my heart sigh I find it so very hard When I must say good-bye.
