Unknown Feelings



it is times like these
when I do not know
why I am feeling
so down and so low



that I search for an answer
and tend to justify
by blaming others
and living a lie



{for you see} the truth is always there
for me to see
when I decide to stop enjoying
my misery



life is for living.
from beginning to end.
to enjoy each {precious} moment
that won't come again



to accept there are things,
which I can't understand
is simply because
I am only human



so whether or not
I do choose to believe
these are the facts.
which are obvious to me



that in doing for others
instead of doing for me.
has paradoxically given me serenity.
