Why I Never Eat |
"Like newborn babes, long for pure, spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up to salvation." 1 Peter 2:2 |
* I was forced to eat as a child * People who eat all the time are hypocrites; they aren't really hungry * There are so many different types of food that I can't decide what to eat * I used to eat, but I got bored and stopped * I only eat on special occasions like Christmas and Easter * None of my friends will eat with me * I'll start eating when I get older * I don't really have time to eat * I don't believe that eating does anybody any good; it's just a crutch * Restaurants and markets are only after your money. |
Everybody has a good excuse for not attending church. If you take those excuses and apply them to other things we do like eating, they might look like this: I don't eat anymore because |
Giving a lame excuse for not attending church or not getting involved in ministry is just as silly as giving up eating. Church attendance for Christians is as important as regular, balanced meals. Without spiritual food, we would die. |
Prayer: Lord, give me the strength to go to church so I can worship You and thank You. Thank you for the food you give me, the food on my table, and the food of Your word. In Jesus' Name. Amen. |
