In case any of you haven’t guessed or heard, we, The Saints won! As you all know by now, Keith’s Father, Bert, played for St.Kilda and wore the guernsey No.19. Keith, his sons and a grandson were invited by the club to visit the rooms and meet the team prior to the match. Keith repots that he met Sam Gilbert and after a brief speech presented Sam Gilbert with his number 19 gurnsey. Sam is a promising young player about 6 foot two in height. Keith also met and spoke with Grant Thomas, the coach and the former premiership coach Alan Jeans. Keith has asked me to thank Vanessa Gigliotti, Assistant Communications Officer for taking care of the Chapman Men. Jenny has spent many hours researching Bert’s career.
