| Dear Member of the Joachim Family. The March/April newsletter is a short one. Wish I had an item from a family member! Up-coming Dates 1st July, St.Kilda v Hawthorn. There will be about 40 of us, Thank you to family members who emailed that they have season tickets and will meet up with us at the footy, we are at aisle 18. A big thank you to Ron James who actually went in to purchase the tickets. Carn’ the Saints. Joachim Annual Get Together Reyna Ottolangui married Abraham Joachim on 10th June 1868. Therefore close to this date it is appropriate to hold the annual Joachim Get Together. We thought most of you would prefer Sunday 11th. June. This is not planned to be a big, formal event just an informal family gathering. Any family member is welcome whether you are coming to the football on 1st July or not. Some of you may like to attend both dates. Jenny and I will be at Bonbons Cafe on the corner of Hawthorn and Balaclava Roads form 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm on 11th June. If you wish, come and join us. We are not booking tables or ordering a special afternoon tea. (The kitchen closes at 4.00 pm but there will still be tea/coffee and cakes). Bonbons close at 5.00 pm. Just a gentle reminder that you need to pay for what you order as my budget does not run to shouting all of you afternoon tea. I Need Your Help. I still do not have contact details for all family members. The list I am working from is limited to people I am aware of so please pass on this email. As always, I am endeavouring to contact as many Joachim descendants as possible without compromising your privacy so please email me addresses of family members who wish to be included.
