In November of 2001, I was interviewed by Jim Richardson, the Gonzo Science editor of Ripsaw News, a weekly publication from Duluth, MN. Mr. Richardson was planning on conducting interviews with some of the current critics of the Kensington Stone, and as I had corresponded with several of them, this interview was meant to give Mr. Richardson a little backround on them.
Things went fairly well, and I talked for roughly an hour and a half. I thought that would be that, but apparently, Mr. Richardson was so impressed by the interview that he decided to run parts of the interview directly. These were published in four parts starting Dec. 12, 2001. Mr. Richardson has sent on the entire transcript of the interview, and it is that, not the articles that I am presenting here.
As such, the following might be considered a bit rough - it was done "off the top of my head" and without notes, so I must occasionally refer to some things in a rather vague way. On the other hand it does present quite a fair and honest backround of myself, and my opinions on the runestone, using my own voice and not the somewhat more studied presentations that I use in my writings.
Without further ado:
