| USE OF FEAR Most everyone, including anarchists regard order as positive: while quickly dismissing anarchists who associate themselves with chaos. They promise the working class that organization is the key- once workers councils, voluntary syndicates, a fair economy etc is established then we will, in time, truly exist in a society of utopia- a society of a higher evolution of humanity; complete with advanced technology, ample amounts of liesure time etc. What such anarchists fail to realize is to obtain such order a necessary system of force is needed for those who simply do not wish to conform to such social demands. Anarchists who desire order rely community peer pressure to unencourage individuals who are a threat to their established order. They rely on negative social authoritarianism to dictate ones behavior that are believed to be irrational- forcing such individuals to restrain their emotions to avoid such sonsequences as social rejectoin etc, Thus such situations (order in general) is maintained by fear- a social hierarchial system of government- that is needed to control ones behavior that is branded irrational by those who unquestioningly accept symbolic culture. Such situations then are anarchist in the vaugest sense of the term. They may reject capital, the state, etc. yet ignore the social authoritarianism maintained by the imposed order. To truly live free we must not only destroy physical domination (capital, state,) but social domination and authoritarianism to the extreme that time, number, art, language are demolished (the very backbone of order) and thus will be liberated from such negative forms of unhealthy expression order has created to rule humanity directly. |
