Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book is one of the most facinating books that I have ever read. Angelica Cottington was the only daughter of Lord Cottington of Bovey, England. At an early age Angelica insisted that she had been visited by " faeries" and to prove this she decided to catch these little winged people in a book, she also kept a diary of the faes visits. She would sit and wait and when the time was right she would very quickly " snap " the book shut catching the faes and therefore proving that faeries did and do exist. Lady Angelica Cottington had many gentlemen friends but she never married, she became a recluse and the only person that she would see on occasion was her housekeeper. Lady Angelica Cottington died in Nineteen Ninety One at a wonderful age of One Hundred Three years old. These are some of her caught fae. If you ever come across her book have a read I promise you will not be disappointed. No fareies were hurt in any way ( they're majical, remember).
