The Mill Pond is my own little paradise,
Prince Fred and I would like to share it with you.
This pond represents a lot of love and backbreaking
work by my children for their parents.
To them I am eternally grateful.

I hope your stay here will be enjoyable. ;)


Mary's Mill Pond

Delicate lillies that bloom in the night
Closing their petals at dawn's early light.
Colorful Koi that swim in a place so serene
Gives you the feeling it is all in a dream.



Rebecca reigns over the pond with
majesty and grace
Constantly emptying her jugs to fill the
the old Mill Race.




The mist from the waterfall makes every
plant very eager to grow.
Trickling its way down through the rocks
to the placid water below.



My Angel keeps watch over the entire scene
Morning, evening and all points in between.
Love she bestows on all the little critters
Acting as their guardian and personal sitter.




Fred sits in the center of his own lily pad
in quiet repose
While Ninja keeps a keen eye on the prince,
smelling a flower that's not his favorite rose.

This is Fred's own private palace right
next to the bog
A fitting home wouldn't you say,
for so princely a frog.




Evanrude, our lizard goes for a ride
Around here we just take it in stride.
While he floats and moves with the wind
He never forgets that Fred is his best friend.




Here in the quiet of one of my many niches
I ponder over my many riches.
It's not jewels or gold that I have so much of
But rather the tranquility of so much love.




So before you go please take a rest
We tried to give you our very best.
We hope that you enjoyed your stay
And hope you will return another day.




Fred as a baby, wasn't he a dear!
Ya' all come back now, Ya Heah!

Last but not least a word from the Koi,
May your life be filled with "Gong Hee Fot Choy".
