"Whispering Leaves of Innocence"
I'm just a little orphan girl,
facing this great big old world.
I wonder how I came to be,
all alone in such a place you see.
I did all the right things and was very good.
That wasn't enough to keep me safe, even
though I thought it would.
Now I must find my way..
all alone and facing a brand new day.
Will the Lord keep me focused,as this is what I pray?
Take my hand and lead me through
the days that are yet to come.
Make me feel complete again and comfort me
when the battle ahead is won.
When I lay my burden at God's feet,
will He send His angels to my side, to find my
family so sweet?
I'll be with you again, precious mother and dad,
for God hath promised, I will no longer be sad.
No more sadness in this little face,
for I'll be with you in that beautiful place.
All of us surrounded by His heavenly grace.
