Another view of the front body framework. Note also the front brake connections now in. The gear stick shift is also in - just to the left of center so that it's between the driver's legs (close to the left leg). The clutch is on the shift handle. Brake master cylinder about to go in. |

Here's a look at the gear shift. It's a length of tube with a flat bar welded to the lower part. This flat bar passes through a slit cut in the floor. It pivots above the floor and, beneath the floor, is connected by an aircraft push-pull tube to the motorcycle foot shift lever. The clutch is on the handle and is connected to the original motorcycle clutch cable. |

I love this picture! The three-wheel monster faces down the four-wheel monster! I think the Manx is beginning to look good -- like a viable motor vehicle. Note the fiberglass tail in the upper left corner. It's off a micro-midget racer and I'm thinking of using it on the Manx. The aluminum body would then mate up to it, meaning I could stick with one way, non-compound curves yet still have a nice rear end! We'll see. |

Here's a gizmo I made for taking the cables that were connected to a twist-grip and connecting them through to a gas pedal up front. The cables come down to connect to the top arm of a T which is pivoted. From the bottom of the T a rod runs forward to the gas pedal. Seems to work! See pictures below. |
