| Munitions Workers at Brunner Mond during the 1914-1918 War. The Brunner Works were originally 'behind' Winnington Park, which was itself eventually engulfed, although the Hall remained as a club for blue & black book staff members. The nearby & surrounding area is now proposed as a new 'village'. |
