Tuesday

¨      Play a game of telephone with the following paragraph. 

Folktales were around long before anyone wrote them down. People would entertain each other with stories or use them to explain why things happened.  Tales change over time and each storyteller has their own way of telling a tale.

¨      What is the story of the Three Little Bears, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs etc?

¨      How do we know these tales?

¨      Watch Movie Folktales Then and Now

¨      Create a story map for tale

¨      Read Jack and The Strongman

¨      Read the Brave Little Tailor

¨      Create Venn Diagram comparing two tales

¨      Watch the Brave Little Tailor  with Mickey

¨      Watch Fractured Fairytales The Brave Little Tailor

¨      Create puppets for tales
