Spring Clinic
April 21 & 22, 2007 Enderby, British Columbia Clinic Coordinators: Bob Woodman/Vernon Technical Coaches: Mike Vincent/Regina, SK Ron Williams Sr./Victoria, BC Clinic Cost: $40.00 per person Start: Clinic commences Sat. am and finishes early Sunday afternoon. We hope all people arrive on the Friday evening or before. We are planning to have a fun Sat. evening at the campsite facilities. The clinic will be designed by Ron Williams Sr. and Mike Vincent, two very experienced marathon canoe racers. Other veteran paddlers will be there to assist them. This is a fun weekend with learning & sharing ideas in a non competitive atmosphere. Accommodation: Camping in Enderby right on the Shuswap River approx. 1km northwest of town centre – Riverside RV Park, 112 Kildonian Avenue, Phone # 250-838-0155. Bring your standard canoe camping gear including a tent. There are several local motels in the town site. Directions: Check “MapBlast” website – Enderby is located approximately a half hour (driving) between Salmon Arm and Vernon. From Calgary – 5.5 hours, Wenatchee – 5.5 hours, Victoria – 7 hours, Bellingham 5 hours. Plan to bring someone new to the sport with you to the clinic. Bring as many canoes as possible, marathon and stock canoes. No, you will not be in trouble if there is a kayak on the rack too.
