Electronic Papers

Since the advent and popularity of the internet, plagiarism in schools has increased immensely. TO assist teachers in ascertaining if a student's work is original, "My Dropbox" was created. My Dropbox is a software program that "reads" student essays and then searches for websites with identical information. Once it has completed a search, it provides teacher with an "Authenticity Report", in which all submitted papers are assigned an originality score. A well done, original student paper will be given an authenticity rate of about 95% or higher.  Scores below this mean the student "borrowed" too much and needs to phrase a greater portion of their facts in their own words.

All students will be trained on how to use my dropbox and send their papers in for analysis.  Mrs. Tate requires most papers to be submitted electronically to My Dropbox.  Papers not received here will not be graded.
