On to the fic...
First Name: Unsure of true name but is called “Rin” Last Name: ???
Birthday: ??? Gender: Male?
Description: Short dark hair, silver eyes, several canine-like teeth, carries a curved dagger, most likely working as Voldemort’s servant, considered level 2 threat to the Ministry of Magic
Recent Sightings: Last seen lurking close to Grimmauld Place, later dates show he has been lingering in Muggle-run towns and in lower-profile locations
“Looks like that Rin is up to something,” Kingsley Shacklebolt said as he got up from his Sirius Black-filled cubicle. A top auror for the Ministry of Magic, he is in charge of the search and hunt of Sirius Black, a convicted and escaped murderer. Those who know him better know him as a member of the Order of the Phoenix, an ally to Sirius Black and helping lead the Ministry off his trail.
“You think he’s in league with You-Know-Who?” queried Arthur Weasley, for he had stopped by to discuss his latest “findings” on Sirius Black with Shacklebolt.
“He very well could be. There’s something odd about him though.”
“You think he knows?” Arthur whispered with a thoughtful look on his face.
“Let’s hope not. If he did, it could mean serious trouble for us,” Shacklebolt stated as he lowered his voice. “Could be trouble for the Order.” At that moment, a pale violet memo zoomed into the cubicle and landed neatly on Kingsley’s desk. Opening it, he read aloud, “’Possible Sirius Black sighting in London-using Muggle transportation contraption with two wheels, known as bicycle. Please investigate A.S.A.P.’ It seems I must be getting back to work Weasley,” Shacklebolt said offhandedly as he turned to his map, placing another red light on London. “…hmm, seems to be making a figure eight? No no, maybe he’s trying to shake us off…” With a fake annoyed look on his face, Arthur Weasley went through a set of oak doors to his own office.

In the darkness of the night, a cloaked figure silently wandered their way to a nearby tree. Leaning against it, he slowly fell into a sitting position as his shadowy silver-blue cloak swished in the wind. Drawing down his hood, it revealed dark, matted hair as he stared up at the waxing moon.
“Full moon out tonight,” said the vague figure as he licked his spiky teeth. With a sigh the young man seemingly fell asleep as several stars shined brightly above. A large black dog sprinted about close by as he lay there motionless. Curiously, the dog cautiously walked towards the individual. Leaning forward a bit to get a better view of the man, the dog lifted a paw up and tilted its head to the side a bit. “Whatcha want dog?” the man said with one opened eye, startling the dog so much it fell backwards. With a grin, the man stared at the dog amused. The dog gazed back, wagging its tail.
“My name’s Rin,” he said as he petted the dog, “you remind me of someone I used to know.” Expressively, the dog blinked at the comment. With a laugh, Rin closed his eyes and began to hum an odd melody. Entranced by the music, the dog fell asleep, and soon after the man did also…
“You made it just in time Snivelly! We got ‘Snivellus’ here hanging from the lamp!” A male voice utters excitedly with a barked laugh as several others snickered along.
“Don’t call me Snivelly! Err where are his robes?!” a female voice exclaims.
“Somewhere around here, I think Moony or Wormtail has um,” another male voice replies.
“Nope, we don’t have them. Wait, where you going Miss Snivelly?” yet another male voice queried.
“You guys sure don’t get it! Don’t call me by my surname or Miss. Oh, and I’m leaving because I have to study for Herbology. Not to mention I rather not watch you take away any more of his clothes,” the female voice answered as the male voices laughed in answer…
Rin awakened to the smell of smoke and the cries of a young child from a few houses down the street. The black dog was nowhere in sight.
I wonder what’s going on… he thought to himself as he quickly got up and headed towards the cries. In front of him lies a home covered in dying flames with a little boy sitting on the grass in front as high above in the sky revealed a green skull with a snake emerging from its mouth. “The dark mark?!” murmured the young man. With a cry, he realized he knew the child sitting alone on a lawn in front of the incinerated house. Rin cursed as he took out his wand and scampered towards the house. The kid sat close to him, with a face covered in ash and tears mingled together. He stared up at his rescuer and the boy’s eyes widened.
“…Is it really you? Mum and Dad said you left for the States!…you… you’re too late…” the boy said as he gazed at Rin. With an awkward shrug, Rin answered.
“I’m not too sure about leaving for the States, but I’m pretty sure I’m me…what happened?,” looking back at the boy.
“…I don’t know… these bad people came and took Mum and Dad! They wouldn’t let me get to them! They kept pushing me and made me fall and…and… then they left after burning up the house!” the child proclaimed as several tears flowed down his cheeks. Rin remained silent for a while and walked towards the burned down house to see if he could find any reasons to why the Death-Eaters would do anything to them.
Who am I kidding, I know why they did this… Rin said as he sadly walked back out. The boy sat watching desolately with wide eyes as Rin returned.
“I’m sorry, this was my cause,” Rin sighed as he looked away from him. “I don’t expect you to forgive me, but I never meant to hurt your family,” then a let out a low whisper, “please get far away from here and hide for a bit, until you see or hear something about the Gringotts case settling, or else those bad people might come back,“ he dropped a sack into the small boy’s hand,“…and don’t worry, you’ll see your parents soon, I promise,” and headed towards the outskirts of town.
This is my entire fault as usual. I should have acted earlier, oh well, I hope he gets away soon though… Rin stared towards the sky as he headed towards Grimmauld Place. The sun was beginning to rise in a fusion of reds and oranges in front of him. Close by, a hidden pair of amber eyes gazed out at him. Back, by the burnt house, the boy awed in silence as he opened the bag to find 30 galleons inside and hurried off as he had been instructed.

Rin was off again, he never stayed in one place for too long, he seemed fearful if he did. He was an assassin-by-hire, highly recommended, but not known to many of the public. He is said to be an expert with swordsmanship, only taking a mere second to draw one to your neck. Those who do know him, suspect him not to be what he claims, but they can never figure out exactly what is wrong about him. He denies it naturally though. Yet, they were actually correct, in fact he had many secrets. One is known only to his “victims” yet then again also known to a dark few. Rin was a self-proclaimed assassin. He did it mainly for income, and for some reason he wanted to save them. He normally snuck into their homes, startled them, and later proved to them he wished to help. Doing this could shake off anyone sent by the employer, so that he could then freely let them escape.

Night was falling again. He was getting close to his destination.
This is getting so dull! Then again, I guess it’s better then last week. Hanging around a group of ignorant muggles complaining about how their cows aren’t eating enough all day and being forced to watch a herd of goats isn’t exactly the best I’ve had to do… As he reached London, he suddenly fell due to being tackled by a girl with curly red hair.
“What do you think you’re doing?!” Rin yelled after blinking a bit. The girl immediately closed her eyes as if thinking and her face and hair flashed into the head of a young woman with long blond hair stood in front of him signaling to be quiet as she looked around. With a nod to herself, she signaled for Rin to follow as she headed off towards the local pub. They passed by several homes and an occasional streetlight until a large, rather run-down looking, stone tavern appeared with a sign in front bearing the words “THE SWAGGERING GOBLET” Rin stopped in front to examine the place, but the woman whispered “wotcher” and went in quickly. He followed naturally and found it to be a dark, lank place full of chatter and laughter.
“I rather like the name of this place,” Rin said jaded as he sat down across from the anonymous girl in front of him. “So who, where, and when. Please note that the closer the date to today, then the higher are my rates, not to mention the harder it is to more secra…”
“I didn’t bring you here to discuss about that,” the young lady said with a sigh. They ordered some drinks in silence and there was silence among them as Rin tried to figure out why he was there.
“You’ve
really lost me there Miss..Miss…”
“Tonks, just Tonks,” she replied quickly.
“No first name, eh? Well, why did you bring me here then?” he said after sipping his drink.
“I actually do have a first name, but I’d rather use my surname,” she had an annoyed expression on her face, “and I brought you here to discuss a proposal.” The pub surrounding them grew in chatter with everyone’s conversations and laughs as the lights dimmed a bit. Rin gulped down the remaining contents of his mug and set it on the table with a clunk.
“Proposal?… You’re not part of the Ministry, are you?” his eyes narrowed a bit as he licked his teeth threateningly with a glare.
“Actually, I am. An auror you know. I excelled on the Concealment and Disguise part, but I didn’t do too great in the...”
“So, what exactly does the Ministry want with
me?,” interrupted Rin irritated.
“Oh, well the Ministry doesn’t want you as far as I know, but the offer is from another organization…” Tonks scanned the room quickly and lowered her head and voice. “The Order of The Phoenix…” Rin sat back with a surprised expression. Behind him, two drunken men began to argue loudly.
“YOU DON’T EVEN *hic* KNOW WHAT GROG *hic* IS!”
“OH YEAH?! I BET YOU DON’T *hic* KNOW WHAT A SPORK IS!”
“WHAT THE BLOODY *hic* HELL KINDA WORD IS THA?!”
“THAT’S IT!?!” The second man lunged at the first in a drunken frenzy hitting Rin in the back of the head and knocking him slightly over.
“…wotcher there Rin,” Tonks said as he sighed and got up, looking at the drunks swaggering about, punching the air. One guy toppled over and landed on the ground and looked up at Rin. He picked the drunk up by the neck and swiftly held a curved dagger to his neck. The other man quickly scuffled to the door.
“Whoa there boy! *hic* No need to be drawing no sharp stuff on a fella’,” the man said with a stupid grin. Tonks sat watching, not sure whether to help or stop Rin.
“Boy?! What the heck makes you think I’m a damn boy?!” he pressed the dagger closer as he clenched his teeth. The people around them backed away, but lingered by to observe the incident.
“…err, well your appearance just *hic* that is…”
“Oh, just shut up and make sure I don’t see your sorry ass again,” Rin said after she rolled her eyes. She let go of him with a thud and the dagger disappeared as quickly as it had come. She looked over towards Tonks and left “The Swaggering Goblet.”

The sun was beginning to rise. Rin sat with her back against a tree humming her nostalgic melody as Tonks walked up to her.
“I’ll join… as long as it’s to stop Voldemort, and if you still want me too.” She stared towards the horizon. The site of a rising sun always comforted her in an odd sense of way. “I’ve always hated that guy. Not to mention his bloody servants,” she looked at Tonks, “sorry if I caused any trouble last night.” Tonks had the expression of deep thought again. Within an instant, her hair was red and spiky as she replied.
“Of course we still want you to join! We need as many foreign wizards as we can get!” Tonks gave a laugh, “No problem at all! The bartender just wanted to know what was going on and stuff…sorry by the way here too, I hafta admit I thought you were a guy at first too!” Rin gave a soft laugh.
“So it’s settled then,” she promptly got up and followed Tonks yet again.
