Any cape(including black) is dyeable to any color (besides black), but it can't be dyed to it's own color. All capes gives +2 to Armor.
Capes Dye(s) needed
Orange-----Red dye, mix with Yellow dye, apply to cape
Yellow-----Yellow dye, apply to cape
Green------Yellow dye, mix with Blue dye, apply to cape
Purple------Red dye, mix with Blue dye, apply to cape
Blue--------Buy in Champs Guild, Blue dye, apply to cape
Red---------Buy in Varrock Clothes, Spawns upstairs of Falador Shield shop,Red dye, apply to cape
Black-------Every highway man will drop them.
RED DYE
For Red, all you need is 3 red berries(they spawn around the Varrock mine, NOT champions guild mine). Take them to Aggie, the witch of Draynor Village. Its not hard to find her, there is usually a large crowd around her. To make any dye, you need to pay her 5gp.
BLUE DYE
Blue dye is the most expensive dye. To get blue dye, you need 2 woad leaves from Wyson, the Gardener of Falador Park. He will ask you for a fair price. You can give hime 15gp, and get a leaf, or offer him 20gp, and he will give you two leaves. Offering 5 or 10gp will get you nothing. Take them to Aggie the witch of Draynor Village.(see RED DYE)
YELLOW DYE
For yellow dye, you need 2 onions(They spawn at two places that I know of: One is right above Rimmington, next to Melzar's Maze; The other place is behind the varrock east farm, and the varrock east farm is directly south of the windmill there). Just take them to Aggie (of Draynor Village) along with 5gp.(See RED DYE) |
