| 11/15//04 - For the first time we have now completed a rooster for all of the Autocar DC-10 tractor trucks that the Kelley Island Lime & Transport Co. used at Marblehead. This was first attempted in July 1994 and never completed due to lack of information. Even today we have lack of disposition of many of the trucks, but this rooster is as complete its going to get. These trucks were used from the early 1940's till the early 1970's and no other quarry hauler lasted longer then the Autocar, except the dinky narrow gauge stone cars pulled by Shay locomotives. | |||||||||||||
