A Tribute in Honor of:
SEPT. 11, 2001 WTC
THE TEARS REACHED HEAVEN

             by Mary Bower

Our children changed that day
they suddenly lost their innocence,
and reality that war had touched our borders came true.

The children carried jugs of water to load the trucks,
the children brought their own money,
the children gave hope as their tears reached heaven.

No longer did we question in our minds, "Where is God?"
For we knew the tears of the
children were being seen by him, the smoke had reached his nostrils, and we knew it was time to pray and pray, for the children's tears had reached heaven.

We lost two of our family namesakes that day,
then one came home alive and again we found hope,
for the children's prayers had reached heaven.

The Carroll Foundation supplies equipment, training, funds, survival kits, and seminars to corporations and emergency depts. We also work directly with survivors of terror attacks, by sending letters of encouragement from our pen pal system worldwide and "care"packages

Volunteers are always welcome and needed.  You can also give monthly support to victims of terror through the
"Care Package Plus" fund.  This enables you to write, share presents, and money gifts to victims.  Some of the children in Israel have lost limbs.  Some of the adults have lost everything.

Please contact us to volunteer
as a pen-pal.

Care Package Plus Fund is in memory of Patti O'Carroll Bower, my Mother, who died in 1984.  Mother wrote and starred in a full length movie for the March of Dimes which went nationwide.  She
worked with disabled children most of her life on a volunteer basis.
