Actually, not too much is wg with the interior. The back is fine, and so is the passenger seat. A previous owner already changed the seat supports from the rubber mat to the metal webbing. However, on the drivers seat this solution failed.

Further, this car too had a great example of a dirty, torn, sagging headliner. The replacement turned out to be a LOT more difficult than expected. Due to the large sunroof present in this car the backing of the headliner turned out to be weakened too much to just reline it. A new solutiuon had to be found... Finally, it all worked out nice.

Further, the old Saab 99s were not fitted with a center console. Thus, fitting a radio looks ugly, and placing your cellphone somewhere where it will stay in reach is impossible. Thus a center console fom a Saab 90 was found, relined and placed under the ashtray (a Saab 99 center console was found but not used as this doesn't look nice: it is not placed in the middle..). Here also a view of the immaculate "Italian Style" interior in the rear. The seat can fold down of course, to give this two-door sportscar a very acceptable boot.

As after the paint job the car is not original anymore it may be an idea to fit the Saab 90 handbrake console as well, a transformation also described by others.
