						Week 38: We're just about organised for the big arrival! We've picked up the cot and change table. We've got clothes, blankets, car set capsule, bouncy chair and Nicola's bag is packed... In a week's time, we'll be parents! According to www.essentialbaby.com.au - Baby is now approx 47 cm (crown to toe) - He/she weighs about 3100g Due date is now Tuesday 25 July 2006 - just days to go!
						Week 37: Nic had her last week of work and is now a "Lady of Leisure". Marc's been quite the handyman - he's removed the built-in desk from the study (soon to be nursery) and has puttied and sanded. This weekend he'll paint, then we can set up the room with all the nursery furniture - we'll put some photos up on the site next week, so you can see how it all looks. Baby's still kicking plenty - despite having less and less room! 						Week 36: We attended the St Johns "Caring for Children" first aid course in the weekend. It was great for our confidence in handling emergencies and accidents (big or small). And we even get certificates! Nicola's not getting much sleep these days (it's even keeping Marc awake!) but it's good practice for when baby's born! Just one more week of work for Nic, then two weeks to get ready! 						Week 35: A busy weekend! We had an ultrasound on Saturday, to check on baby's growth and well-being - all looks good and baby's measurements are all "normal". And of course, we've moved into our new home - and love it! We've still got quite a bit to unpack - but we're getting there. 						Week 34: The big focus for the week has been the move to our new home. Marc's had a frustrating time dealing with the lawyer and bank, but now we're all set for settlement on Thursday, then the shift on Friday. Looking forward to the next ultrasound, this Saturday. (We're getting friends to stay at the apartment during the appointment to let delivery people in!) Wish us luck for a big week!
