Cycling in Southern Norway
In August 2002, 15 Dutch cyclists and a German one decided to enjoy their holidays the not-so-easy way...and started a cycling tour of two weeks in Southern Norway. The country where the hills already start as soon as you leave the ferry, and they only get higher and steeper the  further you go! The locals must have thought we were crazy, especially when we took the famous 'Rallarvegen' from the wrong side (according to Norwegians, you should not climb up this road but only go downhill...). Or when we just kept on cycling in subtropical temperatures, as well as in the cold rain...Anyway, we survived and even had some fun in-between our cycling tours. For this, we owe a lot of thanks to our excellent 'supporters' annex tourguides Kai and Mirjam! And the mountain and fjord views along the way made all the 'suffering' worthwhile...
