My Richardson Family: My Paternal
Grandparents:

John Richardson 4 (James Harvey 3, John 2, John 1) was born 1829 Cumberland Co., KY and died February 1880 in Newton Co., MO.
1st married  Rowena Taylor born 1829 TN., and died December 1857 in Overton Co., TN.  Her parents were Jeremiah Taylor and Charlotte. 
Children for John Richardson and Rowena Taylor Richardson:
Nancy J Richarson born 1847 Overton Co., TN., married Foster.
Margaret Richardson born 1849 Overton Co., TN., married James Madison Arney. (my Paternal G-Grandparents).
John Barber Richardson born July 1854 Overton Co., TN., died 1921 Sevier Co., AR.
Mary Katherine Richardson born 1856 and died 1856 Overton Co., TN.
George Washington Richardson born 1857 and died 1857 Overton Co., TN.

2nd married Nancy Mainord born 1826 TN., and died December 1882 in Mo., daughter of Thomas Mainord and Sarah.

Sara Elizabeth Richardson born 1859 Overton Co., TN., died Idaho:  Martha Emba Richardson born 1862, married Townsend:  Emma Lizzie Richardson born March 20, 1863 TN., died Mo.:  Annie Melissa Richardson born 1864, married Cook:  Marion Harvey Peter Richardson born 1865 Overton Co., TN.:  Helen Sercua Jane Richardson born 1866, married Cook:  Laura Richardson born 1867 married John Johnson Crawford Co., AR.

Notes for John Richardson (4) He was in the 43rd TN.,  mounted infantry.  He was taken prisoner in Vicksburg TN., in 1863.  After the war, he and his family moved to Stella, Newton Co., MO., he died in 1880 and is buried in Gramby Cemetery, Newton Co., MO.  John Richardson was one of General John Hunt Morgan's men in the Civil War.  John died of consumtion after a lingering illness of three years.

Fact 1:  John Richardson's indian name was Standingdeer.
Fact 2:  He was called "Big Knife".
Note:  Rowena Taylor is believed to have been Native American.

John Richardson 2 (John 1) born 1760 Bedford Co., VA and died 1836 in Clinton Co., KY., married Mirum Muncie born between 1760-1770 in VA and died 1846 Overton Co., TN., daughter of Muncie.

James Harvey Richardson born 1802 Sullivan Co., TN., died December 21, 1881 Overton Co., TN.

Note: John Richardson 2, his Indian name was Standingdeer.
Note: Mirum Muncie:  Marium was a full blood Indian Woman.
         We are not Sure if she was Cherokee or Munsee Indian, we have reason to
          believe she was a Munsee Indian part of the Stockbridge Indians and
         Mohigan Indian which was part of the Deleware Tribe.
