After that we got back on the train, thank god for the boys who knew what they were doing, us girls alone would have gotten so lost! When we first got back into the city part of Kyoto we were approached by this Japanese Girl-she just suddenly was there. It was wild. She kept telling us how much she loved america and wanted to go there, asked us all where we were from, it was an experience! We then searched for food for what seemed like forever!! We were all hungary but trying to find someplace with a lot of veggies was not easy! But we finally went to a really cute diner-where they had our favorite-soy beans! |
This is a rick shaw! We saw them all over in Kyoto-we could only imagine how expensive they were! We spent some time in the area around Monkey Mountain, it was very cute. Many little shops and diners! Molly and Allie had Kiwi ice cream! |

While on the boat there was a show, which was entirely american songs-sweet home alabama, YMCA, and even some Barry White! The best was the YMCA, they stick a huge cowboy hat on this Japanese guy and we got to see him dance! He was so cute! We then went to dinner at Wendy`s where the sliding doors closed on Allies head-like 4 times! |
We took the trip to Otsu to ride the MIchigan Boat, Neal knows the president of the company so we were given free tickets! He gave us the best tickets available, the green ones-which allowed us anywhere on the boat. The best was the Green room (for first class passangers only) it was beautiful! |
This is the Green room! |
