UNITY IN DIVERSITY
"Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom." George Washington Carver
Domain III - Classroom Instruction
The Funtummireku Adinkra Symbol (two headed-crocodile) represents unity in diversity and of democracy.  Todays schools have more children from diverse backgrounds and communities.  In order to be an effective and affective teacher, I must understand those differences and embrace each one of them.  I must be willing to give instruction that incorporates each learning style to the best of my ability.  Ensuring that each child can receive instruction that is meaningful to them.  With diversity comes a wealth of culture.  I must be willing, along with my students to embrace these cultures and to help students understand the differences and learn to appreciate them.
Classroom Instruction should be varied in order to incorporate the learning styles of the students.  It should show abilities to incorporate lessons across the curriculum and how to integrate this into technology.
