Description:

The literal translation of Rotkohl says it all: Red Cabbage.

What you will need:

  • 1 head red cabbage
  • Apple juice or grape juice
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • Vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pan

Directions:

Shred or grate red cabbage. Add to pan. Fill pan 1/3 full with juice. Add sugar and a pinch of salt. Simmer for 1 hour. Add a few swigs of vinegar to taste.
