Argus "A" Pinhole Camera

The Argus "A" is an ideal camera to convert to pinhole because it takes standard 35mm film, has a tripod mount and a nice shutter with bulb (B) and time (T) setting as well as a cable release adaptor.  The lenses simply screw out from the front and rear and a brass disk with pinhole can be mounted under the nameplate disk by removing only 2 screws.  It may or may not be important to you, but aesthetically, the camera looks quite nice after the conversion.

With the lens in its retracted position you have a focal length of ~45mm so you can more or less use the existing 50mm viewfinder and just frame everything tight.  With the lens in the extended position you have a focal length of ~65mm.  I have only used my camera with the lens in the retracted position.

Below is a color photo that I took with this camera.  I used Kodak Gold 100 and developed at the local one-hour place.
