Below, a drawing of the original Ritz London

-The picture to the right shows a Deluxe Room from the current Ritz London.  You can see how the decorating style really does pay homage to the Edwardian period (1901-1910 for design) and French influences.

-Edwardian fabrics often included floral patterns.  Designers utilized embroidery, needlepoint, and other embellishments to bring accent pieces (such as cushions) to life.

-Wicker furniture was a big part of the Edwardian style.  The wicker appealed to peoples' need and want for lightness and newness.

-Here, we see the interior of the Ritz London's Dining Room.  This is a current picture and the design style retains Edwardian style (elaborate and engaging).  Tourists often stop into the Dining Room for a meal or afternoon tea.
