LIGER SHARK

This is a custom ZOID I built for a contest. It started out as aLiger Zero X, seen on the right. But I swapped the gear box out with a larger gear box from a Redhorn. This makes the overall body 1/2" longer, 1/4" taller and 1/8" wider. The body panels were extinsivly cut and spliced to fit the new gearbox. I mixed and matched the regular style LZ armor and the LZX armor for the body and head. And of course where the custom gets it's name from is the chopped and reshaped parts from a Hammerhead shark ZOID.

This is the ZOID stripped down of it's  Shark Suit. The tail piece is also removeable, but I forgot to do so for the photo. All of the parts layed out are derived from the Hammerhead and the Viking Lance CP kit. Just about all of the Hammerhead was used, other then the canopy , motor and internal moving parts. The head and side sponsons were used to make armor for the hind legs.

Partially stripped down, you can see the modified head. It has the burster guns mounted on the chin, and a custom set of side frills with shark gills.

Stripped down before painting. With the leg removed you can see the gattling gun mounted on the chest andthe chest burter gun up on the chin.

Right side, fully loaded.

Left side, fully loaded.

A top down view, taken in night vison on my camera.

The underside of the breast, I even used the underside of the shark to make a new battery cover for the ZOID.
