… 3 Benjamin MATLOCK was born on 22 December 1792 in Tennessee. He was son of Luke MATLOCK Sr. and UNKNOWN. He died 30 April 1843 in Dade County, Missouri. He married Charity CHOATE. She was born 20 June 1789 in Virginia. She died 30 November 1875 in Dade County, Missouri. Both are buried at Kings Point Cemetery, Smith, Dade County, Missouri.
NOTE: (1)Benjamin and Caswell Matlock are in the same county in 1820, by 1830 Benjamin nor Caswell were not listed but Mary was. (2)Benjamin and Charity moved to Dade County, Missouri before 1843… this is where Benjamin died. (3)Below deed shows he sold land in Dickson in 1816. Census records show that he was in Humphreys by 1820. His brother also sold land in Dickson in 1818.
