(1)21 July 1814, "Charles Kitchin who is charged by Nancy Renalds of this county a single woman with being the father of her bastard child...and therefore it is adjudged that the said Charles Kitchin is the reputed father of the said child...Charles Kitchen enters bond with Thomas Walker & William Dixon..."
(2)20 April 1815 "Ordered by the court that Charles Kitchen who stand bound in recognizance to save harmless the inhabitants of this court from all costs charges & trouble whatsoever by reason of the birth, maintinance & bringing up a child which he is charged to be the father of by Nancy Reynolds, to pay unto the said Nancy Reynolds on of or before th 20 May next the sum of $20. and that he pay unto her $16. per annum for 2 years from this date to be paid quarterly for the maintainance of said child. 4 Langford R. KITCHEN was born 3 November 1814 in, Roane County, Tennessee. Undivided interest in his grandfathers, William Matlock Sr., estate.
4 James KITCHEN was born 22 April 1819. He died 1892 in Smith County, Tennessee. He married Cynthia NOBLE February 1842.
4 George KITCHEN was born 5 July 1820 and died about 1849 Smith County, Tennessee. He married Elizabeth WALKER 11 October 1840.
4 William KITCHEN was born 29 September 1822.
4 David Charles KITCHEN was born 2 Deccember 1824. He died 18 December 1903 in Brooklyn, Morgan County, Indiana (not proven). He married (1)Charlotte POINTER about 1850. He married (2)Elizibeth Ellen WILSON on 9 October 1864 in Morgan County, Indiana. Ellen was born about 1847 and was daughter of Samuel WILSON and his wife Hannah UNKNOWN.
