1. Littleberry MATLOCK was born about 1740 in Goochland County, Virginia to William MEDLOCK and Catharine UNKNOWN. He probably died in South Carolina since this is where we find the last record for him. Littleberry married Christian UNKNOWN.

This Charles and John Medlock are found in Grainger County, Tennessee. Both having died there by 1802. Johns wife, Sarah, and his children are found in Grainger County, Roane County and finally settled around McMinn County. His children are named in a Bible record. Charles children are unproven at this time. He left a will in Knox County in 1796 naming wife Susannah and John Medlock. It is not known if John was his son or brother.
According to the deed abstract below Littleberry was also in Grainger County, Tennessee. Barton Mcferson was later found in Grainger County then to Roane County, Tennessee. The Rectors, Looneys and McMullens are later found in Roane County as well..
