Cypher played by Joe Pantoliano

In The Matrix, Joe Pantoliano plays Cypher. Cypher was rescued from "the matrix" by Morpheus, but isn't too happy with his surroundings. He wishes he could have stayed in the matrix and lived out his life in ignorant bliss. He makes a deal with Agent Smith. If he delivers Morpheus to him, Agent Smith will put Cypher back in the matrix and he won't remember a thing. The arrival of Neo may make this a very difficult thing to do.
