In The Matrix, Laurence Fishburne plays Morpheus, a man who was removed by the matrix and now searches for "the one" who will save the human race from their enslavement. Morpheus has faith that Neo is the one. Even after the Oracle tells him that he's not, Morpheus gives himself over to the agents to save Neo. Morpheus has been wrong about this before, but he may not be wrong this time.
