• Occupation: Helping take care of her sister Theolinda's children: nieces Deonora (11) and Jillian (8), and nephew Francisco (14). (Theo is just *slightly* not the sanest person on Darkover)
• Former Occupations: trainee at Neskaya and mechanic at Arilinn
• Residence: Mainly Comyn Castle; she's got a suite in the Ridenow section. Occasionally she'll be found at Serrais and she makes rare visits to Edelweiss and Halyn House (only reason she goes *anywhere* near the Elhalyns are is to visit her Elhalyn grandfather.)
• Laran: Full Alton "Gift" and partial Ridenow. The Ridenow empathy tends to help her analyze those around her, so basically, she reads people like a book. Despite being trained at two different towers, Cali's unsure of the the Ridenow gift and plans to go back to Neskaya. She has the Command Voice, and a slight amount of precognition, that only works if she knows the person *very* well or if she touches them. She's a relatively strong Telepath and shields most of her thoughts.
• Politics: How could you even ask? She absolutely HATES politics- but she will throw in a few suggestions and tart remarks if she gets a chance!
• Abilities
  • Unarmed Combat: She's done a lot research on Terran martial arts.
  • Armed Combat: below average, but beware if she's angry, she might throw a knife or something sharp at you, and she's got good aim!
  • Horseback Riding: good. She rides every chance she has, and besides, she owns one of the best mares on Darkover *grin*
  • Interpersonal skills: Depends on who she's talking to, if she doesn't like you, she lets go of the hold on her tongue and if she likes you she may just be able to become your best friend :) And she keeps secrets, unless she thinks its *VERY* newsworthy and wouldn't hurt you...!
  • Laran strength and training: Very strong, finally learned how to partially control the Command Voice. She was trained at Neskaya and Arilinn.
  • Weaknesses: She holds grudges for *years*, she likes rumors and gossip, she enjoys insulting others, and knows exactly what to say that will make any person really really really angry at her and she has a short temper. She's paranoid, and afraid of becoming insane. She doesn't realise her own faults, only the faults of those around her.
• Appearance: Callista is a little shorter than average, perhaps 5'3". She's graced with curly, flaxen-colored hair that has natural highlights of strawberry blonde. Bright, golden, intelligent, "all-knowing" eyes are framed by long, thick lashes of a dark color, and are topped by high, arching brows. She has beautiful well placed features: nice lips, those large eyes, and a well-proportioned nose in a heart-shaped face. And don't even *try* a staring contest with her. Your eyes *will* drop first.
• Temperament: Cynical, and sultry, and the Elhalyn blood that runs through her veins has made her be prone to horrible mood-swings and strange ideas. She has the worst mean streak when angered. She throws fits and she doesn't like it when she doesn't get her own way. Her nephew, Francisco, never ceases to anger her. Cali has managed to spoil her nieces, considering how much she dotes on them. She likes finding out everything about everyone.
• Pets: Her horse, Divika, and her cat, Plunder
• Romantic relationships: well, she may have had a few.. But she likes to keep that a secret. She likes feeling mysterious *grin*
• Friends: her half sister, Maeve, and her half-brother Cullen, and Cullen's wife, Catala.
• Hobbies: Draws *very* well and she plays the hardest violin pieces with ease.
