• Occupation: Tower worker
• Laran: Rockraven gift mostly, with a little of the MacAran
• Politics: Not really interested in following the overall situation, more interested in dealing with people as individuals
• Abilities
  • Unarmed and Armed Combat: Not really very skilled at either, never been trained in either.
  • Horseback Riding: Skilled rider, but given she has the MacAran Gift hardly surprising.
  • Interpersonal skills: Very keen on meeting people so her skills are well developed in this area, although she is not the devious type and so manipulation of others is not one of her talents really. If she doesn't like someone she prefers to avoid them and if that is not possible takes advantage of polite formal language to try and disguise the fact.
  • Laran strength and training: Her Rockraven gift is the stronger and she views her MacAran gift as a somewhat extension of this connection with the natural world - she has not had any real contact with the non-human races of Darkover so that does not cause the philosophy any problems. Views Laran as a gift from the Gods to help others, and therefore takes her responsibilties seriously and isn't keen on frivilous uses of power - although her Tower training did somewhat expand her viewpoint. Her training is merely average, and she is quite keen on learning more and is happy to remain in a Tower, although given the Rockraven gift she also likes being outside a lot.
  • Weaknesses: Takes herself quite seriously, and that attitude of strong responsibility has gotten her into trouble in the past when she has objected to others' use of their powers in what she regarded as a silly manner. Strongly religious types can get the wrong reaction in some quarters too. Generally regarded as a bit eccentric, but well meaning. Inclined to work too hard and push herself too much.
• Appearance: Nothing outstanding either way; long red hair, tends to dress somewhat plainly, although always appropriately for the occaision.
• Pets: Doesn't keep one at the moment, although she takes in wounded animals to care for them every so often, but either releases them afterwards or finds other homes for them.
• Romantic relationships: The other reason she likes being in a Tower is to avoid this. She is not interested in anyone, or knowing of anyone interested in her.
• Friends: Some acquantances from her Tower training, and from her home. She tends to try to make friends wherever she goes, although some do get put off by her initial aspect of seriousness.
• Hobbies: Her secret vice is reading trashy romantic tales, although she would never ever admit this.
