• Laran: Mild empathy and telepathy. More a sudden "feeling" than anything else. The only time that it's strong is when someone she cares about is in danger.
• Politics: Doesn't approve of either the Empire or the Comyn, but prefers to keep Darkover the way that is.

  • Interpersonal skills: Gets along well with most women, but does not get along with men in general. She's not quite a manhater, but her late, unlamented husband made her close to being one. Her attitude has improved since she became involved with Keith. She's short-tempered but good-hearted and will stand up for herself and what she knows is right.
  • Laran strength and training: With her weak laran, she has very little training except for what her mother (a former technician) gave her. She has mild empathy and telepathy, more a sudden "feeling" than anything else. The only time that it's strong is when someone she cares about is in danger. Has a strong mental link with her lover and her laran skills seem to be increasing. She is now receiving training at Dalereuth.
  • Weaknesses: Has blind spots when it comes to people that she cares for- they can do no wrong. Will sometimes fly off the handle at the littlest things, but apologizes just as quickly.
• Appearance: Very tall, with a strongly built body. She's not the most feminine-appearing of women, nor the prettiest. Her somewhat plain face is lightened by bright blue eyes and dimples and surrounded by ragged dark auburn hair.
• Pets: A raggedy calico cat named Scraps.
• Romantic relationships: Involved with Keith Montrose, who's half-Terran. He's the father of the child that she's carrying. She was married previously di catenas to a sadistic SOB who almost destroyed her.
• Hobbies: Riding, working w/ plants, beadwork, woodcarving, studying what passes for history on Darkover. She had an unusual upbringing that didn't stress the normal Darkovan womanly skills.
