• Personality: Shy, highly nervous, hides behind illusion and natural shields to prevent projecting emotion, usually projects an appearance of being dull, plain, unthreatening and uninteresting or occasionally arrogant, tendency to use humor to cover up glitches - puns a specialty.
• Strengths: Quick to adapt to new situations, fast learner, can sense who can be trusted and who can't (usually).
• Weaknesses: Really good looking, honest gentlemen (must be a Leynier trait!), animals and/or children in trouble/pain, chocolate.

Maternal grandmother (Felicia Ridenow) left Darkover to marry (di catenas) to Gareth MacAran against her father's wishes, their daughter (Fiona) married (freemate) to Darin Aldaran-Leynier who had moved to Terra after his twin brother (Davin) committed suicide after discovering that he would never have laran.
