• Personality: Often considered a "bully" by other cadets. He likes to act tough and strong and enjoys bullying those he considers weaker than him. He also has a sensitive side that he keeps hidden, and secretly wishes he had more friends and would be liked more by the other lads his age.
• Strengths: He has an average intelligence, and thinks fast on his feet when given a situation to handle. He also enjoys sword play and is good at it. He has recently made it to the Advance Level Sword Class in the Cadets. He is also strong, has good eye-hand coordination, and wants to be the best Paxman he can be to Lord Stone Haven.

• Combat training: Two years worth of training in the Cadets and some sword instruction before that. His training will continue while he becomes a Paxman.

• Appearance: Brown hair with red highlights, gray eyes, with a muscular and stocky build, just under six feet tall.

• Friends: His only friend is a fellow Second Year Cadet, Amory Finn
• Pets: A chestnut stallion named Daredevil
• Hobbies: Sword fighting and hand to hand combat training.
• Other Information: MacDougal comes from a small family, his parents and one older sister, and they are not rich, but they are not poor. MacDougal's mother is the nedestro of an Ardais Lord that has provided their family with a comfortable living, and a modest home on Ardais lands.
