• Laran gift and laran training: Alton donas (big surprise there) and a small dose of catalyst telepathy. He was trained at Neskaya and, after learning to control his laran, spent some time becoming a monitor and developing his healing skills further in order to be a better horse farm owner.
• Politics: The last thing he wants to get involved in! The idea of being in Thendara again annoys him greatly; he prefers to spend the winters looking after his horses - they need constant attention.
• Personality: A bit distanced from others, like most of the Altons, but likable once you get to know him. Fair with those under him, friendly with those who share his interests.
• Strengths: Very steady and focused. Self-confident.
• Weaknesses: Fine horses and mountain trout.

• Appearance: A big man with unruly red hair that has a touch of white at the temples. He has clear gray eyes and the Alton nose, which appears to have been broken at least once.
